Service Specialist - Goodknight Department
Responsibilities This Specialist role will support all Goodknight Department programs/plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that branch offices are provided with friendly support and reliable solutions. Responsibilities include providing prompt, fair and consistent resolution to problems, issues and questions that arise from participants in the Goodknight Program, the Partner Plan and the Legacy Plan. The service Specialist must also be knowledgeable of firm policies and guidelines The role is responsible for the operational details of the Goodknight Program, the Partner Plan and the Legacy Plan - understanding, facilitating and supporting the technical details of setting up, administering and completing plans. As such, the Service Specialist is a liaison with other affected/related departments/divisions to ensure smooth transitions into and out of plans including but not limited to: Accounting/Compensation, Registration/Licensing, Sales Hiring, Sales Training, User-Access, Human Resources, Mutual Fund Trades, Branch Services, Help Desk, Field Supervision, Sales Tools Support. The Service Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely reporting for all of the department's programs in Peoplesoft, supporting the efforts of the Productivity Consultants to increase healthy growth of the Goodknight Department programs, and maintaining required EDJ and FINRA approvals.Requirements Three plus years of Edward Jones experience is strongly preferred Service area experience is a plus Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written Bachelors degree preferred Strong service orientation Excellent attention to detail Ability to work in cooperation with other areas to deliver service to branches participating in the Goodnight Department programs/plans. Strong problem solving, project management and organization skills.Experience in the following areas is a plus: Understands technical details related to establishing house account Financial Advisor numbers Understand Human Resources, Compliance and firm policies related to state registrations and insurance licenses and appointments Understand daily branch operations, including BOA responsibilities Knowledgeable of sales process and activities; challenges of a top producing branch office; benefits of teamwork; regulatory environment and the requirements regarding selling Technical skills required: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Technical skills preferred: Infopac reporting proficiency, Proficiency with Wordpower & List Manager, use of Listapp The following technical skills are a plus: familiarity with and use of Branch Desktop; PeoplesoftSubmit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
