Special Technology Coordinator

Our client is looking for an exceptionately gifted computer specialist that will support their Chariman's technical needs. Responsibilities will include keeping the Chairman's short and long tern technology needs satisfied with the latest desktop technology, software and hardware available. The Chairman holds a PhD in Computer Science and prides himself in staying a step in front of his competition. Other responsibilites include working with the IT systems group, day-to-day technical support, management of desktop technology and related research projects, investigating the latest in software and hardware developments and architecting new software specifically for the Chairman.

Must be well versed in audio-visual technology including mastery of Blackberry and Video-conferencing. Programming skills desired but not required. Excellent verbal & written communications skills and outstanding organizational and project management skills paramount. Must have exceptional technical ability and ability to work in the high pressure, demanding environment of a hedge fund/private equity group that prides itself in investing in organizations and improving their ROI through the use of sophisticated technology. Candidates should have a computer science background from a top engineering school  with a high GPA, have exceptional technical ability and love keeping up with the latest technology available. Very attractive compensation package with a salary over 100K.
