Sr. Accountant/Manager

DUTIES:

· Prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenues, prepaid items, expense accruals, compensation accruals, deferred assets and liabilities, etc. · Process online bank wires, transfers, and foreign exchange payments and reconcile multiple bank accounts · Perform reconciliations for multiple trading and clearing accounts and prepare general ledger entries · Reconcile general ledger account balances, including verification that all subsidiary ledgers tie to the general ledger and maintaining proper support for all balance sheet accounts · Assist with various month-end close processes · Maintain fixed asset module and work with procurement and accounts payable departments for reconciliation of accounts · Assist in preparation of materials required for quarterly reviews and year-end audit. Contribute to special projects and financial analysis · Understand and maintain SOX-compliant environment REQUIREMENTS: · BS in Accounting · Detail oriented and able to work with a high level of accuracy · Strong analytical and organizational skills and be able to communicate well in a team environment · Position requires a strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software programs · Oracle experience and CPA a plus but not required
