Location: Riverwoods, IL UNITED STATESFunctional Area: Human ResourcesMin Pay Rate: $0Max Pay Rate: $0Pay Type: YearResource Type: Full TimeJob Description: Benefits AnalystKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluates and analyzes current programs to ensure that all plans remain market competitive and cost effective. Assists with implementation of either new program or plan design changes. Serves as functional expert to management in support of benefit plan design Assists with annual audits and valuations Coordinates activities with regulatory compliance Develop and present educational programsMonitor plans performance to various benchmarks. Work with Manager to develop recommendations regarding plan design, which are cost effective, market competitive and support the business objectives Collaborate on communications of new initiatives and design changes Conduct technical analysis/research and plan interpretation to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies (ERISA, DOL, IRS, 409A etc.) Assist with developing annual budget and monitor/reporting of variances to budget and forecast Provide ongoing support services to HR and line managersPrepare analysis for Retirement Plan Investment Committee and Claim and Appeals Committees (working with consultants and legal counsel as necessary) SKILLSRequired: Prior Experience & EducationMinimum 5-7 years experience; must have 3 years experience with benefit plan design activitiesExperience managing compliance activitiesExperience implementing major design initiatives Minimum Bachelors degree; Masters preferredExperience managing large, complex projects Desired: Desired Skills & BehaviorsAbility to multitaskExcellent problem solving skillsAttention to detailDemonstrated follow-throughStrong analytical/reporting skillsGood negotiation and facilitation attributes Click here to apply:
