Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees!  Job Responsibilities: The Senior Business Systems Analyst Finance is responsible for meeting the business needs of end users within the Finance area. The Analyst defines the detailed requirements, analyzes the business needs, and validates the solution with the end user. The Analyst would lead the solutions effort, whether custom generated or acquired, and create the supporting documentation and training as needed. Planning, organizing, identify deficiencies and improve processes, which affect the Finance areas effectiveness. Job duties include: Develops application needs, edits and maintains development operating procedures and standards established in a development manual for the Finance area. Designs and monitors project requirements, analyzes business needs, validates proposed solution with the end user, and validates that the solution is satisfactory to the end user and is the correct solution to resolve the end user or business issue. Serves as a consultant to the Finance area in work measurement, system studies or cost/effectiveness analysis. Develops and maintains custom reports for Finance as well as end user documentation as needed. Provides assistance as required to other Analyst of the Department to improve internal procedures that may be advantageous to the company. Develops report request and change control process for the significant business applications used by the Finance Team. Conducts training sessions to implement new or improved systems and procedures. Conducts meetings with all levels of management for purposes of presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing IT and business policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and make recommendations in these areas. Fulfills departmental requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, or education. Develops test scripts and conducts testing procedures for in-house and vendor developed application systems and custom reports. Participates in integration team meetings and activities to determine the best possible solutions for integrating business processes and business systems for acquired companies. Assists in establishing business application logical security requirements, forms, and procedures. Leads the upgrades and functionality enhancements of software applications Structure priorities of function to be completed. Job Qualifications: BS or BA level degree in computer science, business administration, finance or related field or comparable work experience Extensive Knowledge of QAD MFG/Pro Financials QAD Financial certification a plus Experience with Database / Query development. Windows Systems experience. Consulting or Analyst experience in a finance environment Finance accounting skills in a mid to large corporate environment Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing Analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision Knowledge of manufacturing, office automation, and Information Technology techniques and practices Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience Ralcorp is an equal opportunity employer.
