Position:  Sr. Creative Graphics Designer

 

Description:

 

Cole is looking for a Senior Creative Graphic Designer to develop and execute a wide range of complex graphic design projects for inclusion in a variety of product literature, trade show displays, web applications, presentations, proposals, publications and similar graphics applications for external and internal audiences. This professional will collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects and will manage relationships with external sources relating to design issues. This professional will counsel internal clients on corporate identity and design standards and policies, works under general supervision and will orient and guide less senior specialists.

 

The design position requires 7+ years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of print processes and electronic media. Candidate must posses strong conceptual design skills, have a broad experience in FLASH, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Quark and PowerPoint. This professional must be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. Candidate must also be able to work with all levels including Senior Management. Candidate should have experience mentoring other designers. A positive attitude and drive/initiative is important.

 

Position Responsibilities:Direct the development of concepts, design and art direction for all graphic design and corporate branding projectsManage, inspire and develop creative staff to cultivate creative abilities, innovation and cohesiveness within the company’s marketing team Overseeing graphic design specifications and development of style guidesEstablish and maintain business relationships with outside agencies, copywriters, photographers, printers and other vendors Coordinates design approvals with legal and compliance for all internal marketing projectsManaging team’s assignments along with managing marketing creative operating budgetAnalyze and control expenditures, within budgetary guidelinesDirect and oversee all property and personnel photo shootsDevelop team project flow process including the development of a searchable image library

Skills:7+ years experience (preferable with an agency) with a minimum of 4 years as a creative directorExcellent verbal and written skillsProven ability to lead and mentor creative staff Working knowledge of all MAC and PC systems and all related graphic software programs (FLASH, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop, Quark and Illustrator) Superb Presentation Skills 

Education and Professional Designations:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic, Fine Arts or Liberal Arts
