The Analyst will partner with the Global Supply Operations Air Fulfillment team to help drive shareholder value by enabling the best business decisions through financial literacy of the organization and financial analysis. Specifically, the customer-focused analyst will provide decision support and forward looking business and operational planning, ongoing business modeling and analysis, and business performance measurement. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a self starter and proactive. This position will report to the Budgeting/Reporting Manager of FP&A for the Partner Services Group.. Responsibilities:• Provide day to day financial support to the Global Supply Operations Air Fulfillment function, working closely with global operations, financial reporting and accounting functions teams as necessary.• Manage the annual planning, monthly forecasting and variance analysis process for the Air Fulfillment team, including review of monthly actuals and entering data into the financial planning system. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities associated with plan and forecast• Review and understand financial performance against forecasts via monthly meetings with budget holders and report findings back to management• Influence decision-making to ensure business partners meet the financial objectives of the organization• Present monthly business reviews covering financial and non-financial metrics, including performance against stated objectives• Develop process and methodology to centralize month end accruals on a global basis• In addition to these responsibilities, the position will be working with others on ad hoc analysis projectsQualifications:• BA Required• Minimum of 5 - 7 years in an analytical or role with an emphasis in financial planning and analysis• The ability to build excellent rapport with internal teams• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills preferred• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Demonstrated proactive and solutions-oriented approach towards business problems and process improvements• Experience with accounting processes (accruals, etc.) • Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion Planning and Essbase a definite plus.
