Sr. Java - Fixed Income Products - Trade Capture

Our client will give quick feedback and looking to hire ASAP!!Senior Developer, Fixed Income Products Technology Trade Capture Architect, design, and drive the development efforts of various front office applications and components as a senior member of the Global Fixed Income Trade Capture team. This position requires the ability to contribute independent ideas and work effectively within a global team to rapidly implement solutions and deliver production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable Technical • Expert level experience with object oriented languages and design patterns in Java with some  C# or C++. • Strong knowledge of messaging technologies (RMDS, RV, JMS). • Expert with front-end GUI (Swing and SWT). • Expert knowledge of vendor development products and open source initiatives and tools. • Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise quality applications. • Extensive experience working with Fixed Income front office applications. • Experience with ‘Agile’ style development Business • Experience with Fixed Income front office activities: trade entry and position management. • Good understanding of Fixed Income products. Primary Objectives • Lead design and implementation of various application components within a team. • Validate overall application design and ensuring that applicable technologies are being used. • Work closely with QA team to ensure high quality of the product. • Work with Business Analysts to come up with non-trivial optimal IT solutions for business problems. • Perform design and code reviews. • Establish ‘best practices’ within a development team to make them more productive and efficient and mentor team members. • Lead evaluation of third party products to make buy vs. build decision. • Make sure that all new solutions are scalable and conform to high architectural standards. • Partner with Fixed Income core frameworks team and deliver high-quality solutions that can be reused by other teams.
