Position Description:

Also known as a Project Coordinator, this position will focus on our most important, strategically significant projects. Although this position will not involve full project management, this role allows the Quality Assurance department to be involved from the very beginning of our software development lifecycle, which will help us improve project success rates, improve communication, and help us implement standard practices. The senior QA Analysts will perform requirement review and feedback, will perform test planning and design for every stage of testing, will participate with Product and Development during unit testing, will provide visibility to project deliverables, and will provide the related quality metrics and process controls.The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for evaluating and testing new and modified software to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines, prior to their release to clients. Writes, revises and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently. Documents software improvements or corrections in a bug tracking tool and works with developers and product manager to determine appropriate course of action. Conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs. Monitors program performance after test implementation to prevent program operating problems and insure efficiency of operation. Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.

Qualifications:

Education and/or experience equivalent in Computer Science or related field. Brokerage and/or Securities processing experience.Experience in a QA environment utilizing Client Server, Internet and mainframe.Excellent PC Skills-Microsoft Office.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
