Sr. Server-side Java Developer - Clearing

This person will be responsible for designing, building, and improving clearing systems – especially service based systems - mostly in a J2EE environment. This position requires hand-on involvement in various software lifecycle processes with emphasis on implementation, deployment, and post-deployment activities.

Requirements

Candidate must be proficient in Java/J2EE with emphasis on server-side technologies (Multithreading, Exceptions Handling, RMI, JDBC, JMS, EJB, Servlets, JNDI, etc.). Experience with frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, JUnit, Struts, and JSF is desirable. Experience in Web Services would be a plus.

Experience in at least one of the platforms is required - WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere – preferably in WebLogic 9 and above. Experience in relational databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.); messaging systems (WebSphere MQ, WebLogic JMS, etc.); and open platforms (Unix, Linux) is required for an effective development role.

The position requires good communication and interpersonal skills. Good analytical skills, understanding of software development processes (RUP, Agile, etc.), and ability to carry out modeling (UML, Database) would strengthen candidate's claim to this position. 6-10 years experience is desirable.

Experience in financial services sector would be an additional plus.
