Job CategoryIT/Software Development Job Location US-AZ-Scottsdale StatusFull Time Position description The Global Corporate Systems group provides Information Technology (IT) solutions to a number of internal departments, including Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Payroll, Fund Legal / Compliance, Office Services and other IT groups. We use both packaged and in-house developments (e.g. SAP, Java, .Net, Oracle) to meet business needs. There are over 220 IT professionals in Global Corporate Systems who are based in our offices around the globe, and we are continuing to expand by establishing the following teams in our Phoenix office: Production support Application Development Quality Assurance Software configuration (Change and release management)The Application Rollout Service team is responsible for coordinating the deployment of applications. The team is the owner of the entire process of release management, coordinating with the Operational, Infrastructure, Support and Development teams. As a Senior Software Configuration Engineer, you will utilize strong communication skills and your strong understanding of IT processes as you: Develop and maintain effective working relationships between the various teams in Operations, Infrastructure, Support and with developers to plan rollout of applications across different environments. Understand the needs and expectations of all key stakeholders and provide an awareness of current and proposed initiatives that will impact them. Take ownership of coordination and deployment of new applications/releases, as well as post-rollout activities Implement effective documentation to improve rollout processes.QualificationsYour experience should include a minimum of 5 years in a similar Software configuration / Application Rollout position and / or a financial Application Technical Support position.
