Position Requirements:* Ensure compliance with all regulations governing the securities industry* Communicate with the clearing firm regarding all regulatory issues (pattern day traders, Regulation T. extensions, sellouts, etc)* * * Bachelor's degree preferred* At least five years of brokerage experience required* Superior knowledge of margin lending and investment products* * Strong analytical skills· 5 years experience in finance (especially risk/derivative-related), · Good understanding of commodity derivatives· Understanding of margin requirements as well as cross-margining issues· Strong knowledge of a broad range of products (derivatives and cash) traded in the global financial markets. In depth knowledge of the market conventions and pricing issues for derivative instruments traded in the global fixed income, equity, commodity and currency markets. · Solid grasp of financial engineering concepts including financial risk management (VaR, portfolio hedging), options pricing theory, and securities valuation methodologies. Manage daily margin issues and high risk margin accounts. Responsible for pulling house and fed calls; reviewing accuracy of calls and contacts customer in order to resolve issues; monitors daily journals list; callouts/correspondence for customers receiving liquidations or restrictions; handles escalated calls as necessary; manages margin/option approval in order to evaluate exceptions..Additional Information:Travel Percentage: 25%
