For more information, please visit www.Fiserv.com POSITION PURPOSE: The Strategic Sourcing Manager provides comprehensive spend management support to Fiserv business units through total cost analysis and management of the Strategic Sourcing process. Using superior customer skills the individual will be expected to positively influence all indirect procurement business decisions for a broad spectrum of stakeholders.RESPONSIBILITIES: *1. Work closely with Business Units by performing fair value analysis and developing overall Strategic Sourcing initiatives for key service categories.*2. Effectively negotiate with suppliers and complete appropriate financial analysis to procure a wide variety of services at the lowest total cost. *3. Strengthen the Market Intelligence function for indirect spend categories and assist the business units to optimize the vendor selection process. Research (understand, track, anticipate) and provide benchmark (industry, cost, best practice) information for assigned categories.*4. Work with designated Business Units and manage the strategic sourcing process, including: coordinate cross-functional sourcing teams that are responsible for project strategy, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier management for categories that may yield significant savings to the enterprise. Management and oversight of RFx process.*5. Manage key and preferred supplier relationships; draft requests for competitive bids; guide contract negotiations; oversee contract implementation; conduct supplier performance reviews; track dollars spent and compliance to cost savings initiatives.*6. Develop Procurement policies and establish formula and tools necessary for compliance to policies. *7. Other projects as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business required.• MBA preferred• CPM or CPSM preferred.Job Related Experience: • Minimum 5 years business related experience in a Strategic Sourcing or Procurement analyst function with increasing level of financial responsibility.
