Svc Specialist II - Equity Sales Service

The Equity Sales Service area of Edward Jones is seeking a highly enthusiastic individual to join their team. Duties include working closely with branch-office associates to provide answers and assistance with equity-related questions. The ideal candidate possesses customer-service experience, has a bachelor's degree in finance or business and can provide excellent support to branch offices. Responsibilities Answer incoming requests regarding equities and equity related products from branch associates, utilizing a wide variety of resources. Provide solutions based service to branches and gain knowledge regarding a variety of equity products. Research financial/investment information and provide details to branch-office associates. Understand trading procedures as related to equities and provide branches with appropriate information. Provide excellent service to branch offices. Educate and explain financial/investment procedures and general information to branches. Maintain a working knowledge of the Bloomberg Financial software as well as other on-line and hard copy resources. Responsible for maintaining and updating various reporting functions. Maintain knowledge of industry laws and regulations.Requirements Series 7 and 63/66 licenses are required 9 months from the associate's start date. Strong corporate service background and a desire to be in a service-oriented position. A strong desire to exceed and work in the finance industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills. Ability to learn and work in a dynamic team environment.
