About the Position Title: TFS - Regional Sales Managers Reports to: National Sales Manager(s) Shift: Normal Dayshift Location: North America Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the country of choice. Relocation: Would be eligible Position Description The roles will be essentially to contact, develop and close out financial sales opportunities, establish financing solutions for customers, maintain excellent ongoing relationships with customers, and partners. Key Tasks: - Integrate with equipment sales and operations on a daily basis. - Investigate, research and understand customer base and distribution methodology. - Present finance programs to equipment sales force. - Evaluate success by measuring finance volume, penetration and incremental sales. - Partner with equipment divisions on developing equipment pricing strategies and subsidy programs. - Establish customer relationships and make presentations on finance program offerings. - Understand and identify customer needs through a consultative sales approach. - Gather credit information on customers, prepare credit package and submit to credit - Work with functional groups (credit, AMO, Cap Markets) on closing finance transactions. - Develop training tools for salesman and dealers to broaden finance knowledge. - Attend industry trade shows Accompany product sales teams/dealers to present and sell the benefits of using TFS as a solution to finance needs. - Educate customers on options for leasing solutions, and best practice for utilizing different financing plans. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors. Minimum Required Qualifications Position requires a self motivated sales professional with a minimum of five years of experience in financial sales or operations management in a captive finance environment or a third-party vendor program. Relevant experience includes end-user retail financing or dealer floor plan financing. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, ability to engage customer discussions to identify customer financing needs and work within a group environment to close finance transactions. Candidate must have a good understanding of lease and loan structuring and credit underwriting policies and procedures. Candidate must be able to travel. Level of education required: - Four year college degree (emphasis in accounting, finance or economics) Experience Level: - At least five years of experience in financial sales or operations management within a finance company environment. - Relevant experience includes working in a captive finance environment, third-party vendor program management or banking. - Experience working in the construction equipment industry, industrial equipment industry or heavy machinery industry. Underpinning knowledge of product or similar product would be an advantage, with ability to talk to product changes. Experience in all financial products used. Language Requirements: English is essential, and a second language is desirable.
