Tandem Systems Specialist - GTI (Band 4)

Brief Description: This position is to provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the Tandem Platform and the applications that operate on it.  In addition the position requires development in TAL, Cobol, and C as needed to support the system level applications.  Solid Tandem, system level operational skills and communication skills to interface with IOCC personnel.Qualifications: REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years experience in the support of the Midrange Tandem Platform and Guardian Operating systemStrong communication skillsTechnical efficiency in TAL, FUP, Netbatch, TCP/IP Sockets, MQ Series Administration, Cobol, C, and TACL programming languagesDesired: Knowledge in the configuration and management of third party software DRNET, NDM, and Prognosis are a plus.  Additional working system knowledge of Stratus VOS operations support is desired.
