Tax Consultant

Description:First Data Corporation is looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented individual to join the company as a Domestic Tax Consultant. This position will be responsible for the following: - Prepare complex federal and state tax returns, as well as assist in the review of federal, state, and local income tax filings including quarterly estimates, extensions, and tax returns.-Manage workload of staff department as assigned.-Identify tax issues and planning ideas that arise in the compliance process and assisting with the research and resolution of those issues. -Maintain tax basis balance sheets with supporting FAS109 workpapers.-Support the planning group by gathering and analyzing financial data as well as tax return information.Qualifications:An undergraduate degree with a major in accounting and 5-8 years of solid corporate income tax experience.
