Responsibilities Responsible for the performance of the Retirement & Education Service Team. Develop and mentor associates. This includes identifying and supporting training opportunitResponsible for the performance of the Retirement & Education Service Team. Develop and mentor associates. This includes identifying and supporting training opportunities, conducting performance reviews, and recommending bonus allocations. Identify process improvements and set team goals. Assume responsibility for the success of the team's standards. Continuously improve/innovate and prepare for the future. Effectively utilize resources such as technology, time and associates. Accepts responsibility and accountability.- Hire the right people, fully support their development and hold them accountable for getting the job done with excellence. - Partner with your team to clearly define responsibilities, performance measurements and expectations for each associate. - Effectively utilize all resources to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations and firm policies. - Continuously seek out opportunities to design and/or improve processes, workflows and controls. - Develop self for enhanced contribution in the Team Leader role.ies, conducting performance reviews, and recommending bonus allocations. Accepts responsibility and accountability.Requirements - Must become Series 7 and 66 licensed with 12 months from start date - Prior knowledge and experience in the retirement world is strongly preferred - Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, business management, or accounting is preferred. - Communicate effectively with associates and peers - Ability to make decisions in best interest of client and firm while mitigating risk - Strong time management and organization skills - Ability to hire, train and develop team members - Resolve problems timely and in compliance with regulations and policiesLeadership skills - Ability to deliver meaningful feedback, set goals, meet deadlines, multi-task and handle heavy workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time-management skills. Two-plus years of management experience in a similar environment brokerage and/or service center is preferred. Retirement technical knowledge and experience working with Retirement products such as Traditional IRAs, ROTH IRAs, SEPs, SIMPLEs, 529s as well as qualified plans including Safe Harbor 401ks, Defined Benefit Plans, Ownerks, Profit Sharing, 403bs, etc. is required.Submit an online resume for prompt consideration for this opportunity.
