Technical Accounting Manager - Derivatives

We are recruiting for a solid and growing Fortune 500 company. This is a high visibility position. The successful candidate must be a high performer with a strong technical accounting knowledge and also have solid communication skills. The company provides outstanding compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities are as follows:

·Research and interpret proposed accounting guidance as it related to the company's hedging programs

·Review company financial statements and disclosures to ensure the proper accounting treatment of derivatives in accordance with the company's accounting policies

·Research and analyze proposed and newly enacted accounting statements and standards and present conclusions to upper level management

·Lead the implementation and roll out of new accounting policies and procedures to the business units

·Interact with regulators (FASB and SEC); perform special accounting research projects

REQUIREMENTS:

·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

·CPA with 10+ years of public accounting or Fortune 500 company experience

·Superior technical accounting and research skills, particularly relating to hedging/derivative transactions

·Expertise in SFAS 133, 140, 150 and FIN 46 highly desired

·Effective communication and writing skills
