Our client, a large trading firm,  is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager - TOM for their NY office location. They offer excellent benefits and very competitive salaries.

Job title: Technical Operations Manager (TOM)
Reporting to: Global head of operations (GHO)
Overall objective: Assist the global head of operations in the US roll-out of eBroking products and ensuring the client experience is of a highly reliable, well supported system


Specific Tasks:Work with Market Admin, Client Services, eBroking Application Support, and API support
units to ensure that all support issues are being logged, tagged properly, and followed to
completion.Prepare reports showing production issues classified by product, customer, etc.Work with management to analyze and correct weaknesses in the eBroking process,
software, and infrastructure to deliver maximum availability.In conjunction with operations management, manage production outagesIn conjunction with operations management manage new version rollouts of existing
products and infrastructure and the introduction of new products and infrastructur

Required Skills:
Project managerStrong verbal and written English communications skills


Desired Skills:Experience in electronic trading or other high uptime system operationKnowledge of electronic broking businessExperience with issue tracking methodology and software, ITILExperience with datacentersExperience with networkingExperience with server managementExperience with application management
