Trade Finance Relationship Manager 3

Job Description: The Wells Fargo HSBC Trade Bank N.A. ("The Trade Bank") is a joint venture between Wells Fargo and HSBC, one of the largest global banks in the world. We acquire and manage our own portfolio of relationships with international orientated companies. In addition, we provide support to Commercial Banking and other Wells partner groups to deliver international financial services to their customers. The open RM position will be responsible for a variety of client relationship management, business development and trade transaction activities, including development of import and export finance business. The person in this position will handle all aspects of the client relationship including directing/coordinating the execution of various types of transactions. Looking for experienced, energetic, qualified personnel capable of independent activity including origination, structuring and execution of financing for complex trade and export related transactions, traditional commercial lending, treasury management, foreign exchange and/or other credit related products. Other duties include: representing the bank in developing and maintaining existing client relationships and generating additional revenues through cross-sell activities; active participation in the completion of major transactions with the top management officer of the bank for critical/complex clients.Please note: this position may be filled as an RM2 or RM3, depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate selected. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree and 4+ years prior experience in middle market banking (including structuring, documenting and closing deals on complex and moderately complex credits and treasury management solutions). Formal Credit Management training. Preferred Skills: Prior working knowledge of traditional trade finance and foreign exchange products would be a plus.
