Traffic Coordinator for Print Design Pieces Needed Traffic experience in a Creative Agency or In-House Creative Department Required Are you insanely organized and outgoing? Do you have experience managing printed projects? If so, then we want to meet you. Our client, a leading financial institution is looking for a traffic coordinator who will be responsible for planning and coordinating print production activities for printed materials including collateral, packaging, POP, and brochures. As the traffic coordinator you will be the liaison between both various internal departments including Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Legal, Quality, and Operations and external manufacturers, printers and agencies. The ideal candidate is proactive (no waiting around for projects to come to you), able to communicate with various personality types, can multitask (there will be A LOT of juggling), and who of course has the knowledge of the various phases of production, (creative design, production art, prepress and printing). As the Traffic Manager, it is your responsibility to ensure positive quality, cost and timeline results for all projects and to use your winning personality to make sure that this occurs. Selected Duties: Perform weekly status reports and updates, schedule kick-off meetings, etc..Monitor project schedules. Make sure all tracking information is up to date on a daily basisManage project timelines, budgets and schedules.Provide cost estimates for production & pre-press work. Verify all agency, photographer, image usage, translation, and other creative feesLead evaluation of proofs and briefs that require approval and release art to vendors including international teams.Support Director of Creative Services and On-Site Manager in documenting and adjusting workflows to address quality issues so they are not repeated.Interact with teams on a daily basis communicating status, providing input and consultation on projects. Communicate any issues relating to projects.Work with team to create more efficient and profitable workflow.Provide Senior Project Manager with Project Volume Projections.Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years in managing graphic art projects. Agency experience a plus.Comprehensive practical and technical knowledge of digital, graphic-arts design, production and printing processes and workflows.Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.Strong project management and client relationship skills.Skill managing multiple projects in an intense, deadline driven environment.Demonstrated communications/persuasive skills.Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or similar program.
