Trust Audit Manager

PlumRhino Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Trust Audit Manager in Milwaukee, WI. The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years audit experience within investment management or trust operations.

 

This individual will:Direct and perform internal bank audit and trust audit programs to identify regulatory requirementsPlan, execute and oversee establishment of internal controls by consulting in the implementation of processes, changes to existing systems standards & proceduresAssist other departments with periodic compliance reviewsMaintain rapport with external auditors/bank examiners and assist in the coordination efforts to ensure prompt and efficient completion of their examinationProvide recommendations to management and the Board of DirectorsIdentify and assess existing and emerging regulatory risks and impacts on the organizationAssess risks and controls within corporate and governance units and regulatory compliance related processes Participate in or lead audits, special projects and/or investigations

Requirements:6-10 years audit experience within investment management and trust operations  Familiarity with OCC auditsStrong understanding of control change management & development guidelinesIndependent thinker with the ability to oversee projects from inception through to completionExperience with SAS70 and “Auditor assistant” software platforms is a plusMust have previous experience as a manager/supervisor of staff
