UI Developer
Omni Resources, Inc. is an I.T. Consulting Firm. Our client is looking for a UI Developer for a permanent opportunity. The UI Developer is responsible for the design, development and enhancement of the web applications and customer interfaces. Hands-on involvement in every phase of development: design, code, test and document software, rapidly creating fully-functional prototypes with help from back-end developers, and organize requirements into development tasks and execute. This is a permanent opportunity. Position Qualifications
· 3 - 5 Years of comprehensive experience in web-application development
· Experience developing Windows and ASP.Net applications using Visual Studio 2005, IIS 6.0, SQL Server 2005 and Windows Server 2003
· Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (Aptana Studio, ExtJS)
· Strong knowledge of Model Driven, Object Oriented and Test Driven Design principles, common design patterns and MVC modeling
· Experience with web services/SOAP, SOA or other web-based, multi-tier architectures, preferably implemented in .Net
· Full command of cross-browser / performance / web-standards issues
· Experience with Agile development methodologies: Continuous Integration and short-development iterations, test-driven development and refactoring
· Familiar with Object Relational Mapping tools
· Usage of Open Source tools; NHibernate, NUnit not required but useful
· Usage of 3rd party tools; Infragistics, Resharper not required but useful
· Combination of Payroll or 401k industry experience or awareness a plus
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent education
