Underwriter

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of five years of underwriting and/or portfolio management credit experience in a cash flow, asset-based (NOT REAL ESTATE), or mezzanine lending environment. Additionally, they must exhibit the ability to read and comprehend balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cash flows, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as an ability to work independently. Strong communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with senior management, internal or external counsel, and clients. A disciplined attention to detail, positive attitude and completion of a formal credit training program are highly desired. Bachelor’s Degree with extensive course work in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics is required. An MBA or CFA is a plus. Candidates should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
