With Total MerrillSM, we believe it is no longer necessary for our clients to maintain a relationship with any other financial institution.Job Responsibilities: The Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) represents the Merrill Lynch Global Bank Group and support FAs with existing clients and prospects that have opportunities within the commercial bank platform.  The GBG Commercial Platform ranges from lending solutions, cash management and investment strategies and capital markets activities to small to mid-size companies.  Lending is conducted through a variety of platforms whose focus includes small business and middle market (loans of $1-$100 million), investment real estate financing, and securities based lending platforms. The Working Capital Management Account (WCMA) is a brokerage service especially designed so that businesses can unlock the value of their cash flow by integrating investing and financing within a comprehensive cash management platform. Capital markets activities involve coordination of investment banking professionals for transactions that involve a sale or capitalization.Qualifications:BA or BS degree required 8+ years of experience in general commercial & industrial lending to small and medium sized privately held businesses, under such functional titles as Relationship Manager or Loan Officer Formal bank credit training required Emphasis on prospecting, sales development and origination responsibilities Superior sales, negotiating, interpersonal and client service skills Familiarity with commercial lending practices and procedures, legal and documentation issues, operating and risk characteristics of a broad base of business and industry types Ability to read and analyze financial statements, particularly regarding various measures of profitability and cash flow, balance sheet strength, and quality of assets as collateral Understand account analysis statements and principles of corporate cash management Series 7 and 66 are required (within 90 days) Merrill Lynch is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
