VP Corporate Actions Management

 

Oversee the corporate actions department within a Global Investment Bank. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Provide support for Equity Finance, Fixed Income Trading, and Prime Brokerage groups

· Manage day to day processing for voluntary/mandatory corporate actions, dividends, and P&I processing within a fast paced and dynamic environment. 

· Heavy interaction with external counterparties, depositories and agent banks as well as internal traders, product controllers and various operations personnel

· Prepare and present weekly/monthly reporting

· Ensure the timely responses to client and trader queries

· Provide technical expertise to various members of the organization

· Provide training for new and existing staff members

 

Requirements:

 

· College degree or equivalent.  Advanced degree a plus.

· 7-10 securities operations experience.

· Previous experience managing a small team

· Thorough knowledge of a wide range of corporate actions including: Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions, Dividends, and Principal and Interest collections.

· In depth knowledge of day-to-day operations in respect to reorganization offers, dividends and P&I Income Processing. 

· Strong analytical and communication skills. Superb research abilities.

· Project management experience preferred.
