VP - Data Quality, Reporting and Analysis
Lead team responsible for all aspects of data quality, reporting and analysis of the firm’s headcount related data. Individual will be required to drive the development of headcount reports and analytics that will be used to assist corporate and divisional leadership as part of their business metrics. Individual will be well versed in current business intelligence tools and trends in the market place in order to partner with GS HCM Technology in driving the development of future reporting infrastructure and tools. Ongoing development and monitoring of robust data quality review processes to ensure high quality data at all times.
Strong leadership skills needed to help develop the team and ensure the team is well connected with divisional and functional HCM teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills needed in order to ensure constant dialogue and communications taking place across the organization. Excellent analytical skills needed in order to develop, maintain and present on headcount trends and findings.
Responsibilities
• Develop the reporting and analytical strategy to support the corporate, divisional and functional business needs
• Implement and maintain practices which ensure data quality and integrity
• Work with internal and external partners to develop reporting and analytics infrastructure needed to automate and maintain practices which ensure data quality and integrity
• Partner with functions, divisions and controllers on ensure robust, consistent and sustainable headcount reporting is developed
• Actively identify opportunities for streamlined reporting
• Deliver regular analysis on attrition trends, headcount metrics and general headcount reporting that will included in business performance metrics
• Support ad hoc management information requests
• Develop new analytical capabilities that will drive business strategies and recommendations
• Take a leadership role working with GS HCM Technology to align reporting and analytic capabilities
• Manage work flow and budget, coach and develop team
Requirements
• Working knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools
• Strong listening, presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to translate analytics into actionable recommendations
• Proven leadership capabilities including strong thought leadership, effective decision making, strategy development and ability to drive results
• Ability to influence without authority at senior levels
• Ability to develop and manage teams from defining team mandate, vision and strategy to operationalization
• Strong collaboration and ability to manage cross functionally
• Understanding of P&L drivers and overall business acumen
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Background in Management Information Systems helpful
• 10+ years experience in managing finance and or reporting and analytics environments, experience within banking or other financial services are preferred
• Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred
