VP - Marketing

The Permal Group Inc., a subsidiary of Legg Mason (NYSE: LM), was a pioneer in the use of the multi-manager, multi-strategy investment concept and has helped set the standard for fund of hedge fund investing. With over $30 billion in assets under management, Permal is one of the largest fund groups in its field. Due to tremendous growth, Permal seeks to expand our Marketing team and add the following position:

Duties:

 

·  Create and maintain proactive marketing ideas

·  Write monthly newsletter and ongoing commentaries

·  Develop quantitative analyses and presentations

·  Implement marketing design effort for organization

·  Review marketing documents for accuracy and consistency

·  Manage new projects on an ongoing basis

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 7+  years experience in financial marketing; hedge fund industry a plus Solid understanding of financial marketsMust be a good communicator and possess excellent writing skills

·  Ability to design and implement print design ideas

·  Proactive, a self-starter, who is able to work independently and has excellent organizational skills

·  Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·  B.A./MBA degree in Business, Finance or marketing
