Act as the key liaison with internal partners such as Marketing Strategy, Marketing Services, Quality and other associated functions as applicable. Manage all elements of real time performance and quality management including evaluations, enhancements and vendor productivity. Manage call and lead volume allocations to maximize on sales opportunity. Associate and work closely with the vendor account and operations management team to build business sales growth, utilizing various training methodology, scripting enhancements, incentive schemes and be involved in the TSRs development, rewards and recognition initiatives. Build the WaMu brand across all call center sites. Institute leadership skills and attributes to manage a diversified pool of vendors across geographies and sharing best practices. Overall, will be required to design, document, implement and manage necessary processes to maximize results while simultaneously managing costs and regulatory compliance. Minimum Skills Required:Must have prior experience managing large telemarketing programs within the call center industry/organization and/or financial services credit card/like segment.The ability to develop and set standards for telemarketing operating environments with a strong working knowledge of compliance is a must. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.Ability to continuously develop and make process enhancements. The individual must be able to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong analytic, problem solving, written communication and presentation skills. Need to have good people management and development skills, ability to institute leadership skills.Ability to interact and present in senior management forums and meetings and self motivated to deliver above and beyond.  Preferred but not required:Previous Management experience.5-7 years of prior telemarketing management in a vendor/client environment and previous telesales experience in the financial services credit card/like industry.Experience in managing international call centers is an advantage. Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
