Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: Jackson National Life Insurance Company Contact: Traci Sandler Email: Apply by Email Address: Denver Tech Center, CO Vice President, Due Dilligence and Investment Research Duties & ResponsibilitiesSummary/Basic Purpose: The primary responsibility is to support the affiliated broker-dealer firms within the National Planning Holdings, Inc. (NPH) network in evaluating and monitoring prospective investments.  This process will include procuring and organizing due diligence requests, evaluating offering documents, conducting due diligence visits, and working closely with the firm’s legal department to formulate opinions on these potential investments. This individual would not only review the product/strategy, but will also be a resource to the various broker dealers compliance staff to help educate, review suitability, etc.   Key ResponsibilitiesØ  Procuring and organizing due diligence requestsØ  Supervise NPH Due Diligence team, providing direction and trainingØ  Evaluating offering documentsØ  Maintaining files on all active selling agreementsØ  Conducting due diligence visits Ø  Formulate opinions/recommendations on these potential investmentsØ  Chairperson of the NPH Products CommitteeØ  Assist in new projects as directed Job RequirementsWork Experience:  5-7 years of due diligence, related finance, and/or legal experienceExperience evaluating limited partnerships or direct participation programs preferred  Education/Registrations:  MBA Required      NASD Series 7 required (and 24 preferred). Competencies:· Minimum 5 years securities industry experience · Must have previous experience working within broker-dealer environment. · Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and staff members. · Qualified candidate will be a strong problem solver. · This position requires an individual to be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to operate on a daily basis with limited supervision. · Proven ability to work as a team player, yet independently when necessary. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. · Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. · Highly proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. · Ability to travel as some travel will be required. · Strong analytical skills· Attention to detail· Ability to work well in a team environment Traci Sandler AVP, National RecruitingJackson National Life, National Planning Holdings and Curian CapitalVoice 303-224-7568 traci.sandler@jnli.com     The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
