Job Description:
Direct the financial affairs of the regional organization and prepare financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management. VP, Finance is responsible for the company's regional financial plans and policies, use of and adherence to accepted accounting practices, monthly closing activities and the conduct of its relationships with the worldwide organization. The position involves supervision over the credit function, financial analysis, GL & AP, payroll, and traditional budgetary controls. Produce regular reports to support the divisional operational management team, as well as submitting monthly and quarterly reviews to Global Sales and Global Finance. Participates on the senior leadership team to influence and contribute to the overall region’s business strategies.

Responsibilities:
• Provide proactive, objective advice, counsel and analysis to operating management in the development and execution of the business unit’s strategies and objectives.
• Be the “go to” resource and provide objective analysis, perspective and counsel to operating management to develop the business units’ strategies and objectives
• Create and maintain organization structure and talent required to support current and future business levels.
• Ability to set strategy and clear direction for the financial organization.
• Manage and oversee all Credit & Collection Activities for the region.
• Responsible for weekly/monthly sales reporting to Global Sales
• Manage and oversee that targets for DSO and local inventory turns are met.
• Responsible to ensure that budgets and quarterly estimates are prepared, evaluated and reported on time in accordance with corporate guidelines and financial policies.
• Responsible for all North America local GL, AP, AR and payroll. Works with HDI Controller to ensure same for Hello Direct inventory transactions and similar areas.
• Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.


Requirements:
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting Finance or related major
• 15 years of progressively responsible experience in financial and people management .
• Strong analytical and business skills
• Advanced, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, OLAP tools and SAPSEM.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and staff
• Strong analytical and cognitive skills
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• CPA certification and MBA preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills
