The VP of Financial Reporting is a senior member of the Company's finance team reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller. This person plays a key role in interacting with external auditors and third party 404 consultants.

This person will own the SEC reporting process and responsibilities including: Preparation and timely filing of all SEC reporting requirements including, the quarterly 10-Q and 10-K Reports. Leading the initial interpretation of new accounting pronouncements or SEC requirements to determine the impact on the consolidated financial statements. Drafting accounting policies and memos as needed and assisting in their roll out to our various operating locations.Providing technical and consulting support to the Accounting and Finance Department, as well as other constituencies, on the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC and PCAOB regulations. Working patiently with our foreign finance teams to gather the information necessary to prepare our consolidated financial statements, footnotes and related disclosures.Improving the automation of the reporting process through Hyperion.Maintaining SOX compliance in relation to financial reporting internal controls. Preparing other governmental and statutory reports as required, including statutory reports for various UK entities.Required Skills

Very strong technical accounting and reporting skills. Good business sense. Strong oral and written communication skills to enable the candidate to deal with senior management and to compose our public disclosures. Must be extremely well organized and able to establish and meet strict reporting deadlines. Leadership and interpersonal skills to work with department heads and foreign finance teams to ensure their cooperation in the reporting process. Must have strong analytical skills, and be detail oriented. Very strong computer skills, including excel and word; experience with Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.Required Experience

A BS Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience and a CPA is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience consisting of a combination of public accounting, preferably with the Big 4 or regional accounting firms and industry experience is required. A minimum of 3 years of SEC reporting experience Working knowledge of SEC reporting and regulatory reporting requirements is required. Thorough understanding of GAAP and an understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements is required. Experience with accounting for stock-based compensation, accounting for income taxes, convertible debt, foreign currency and earnings per share computation is strongly preferred.
