Job ID: 1320Location: Cincinnati, OHDepartment: EXECUTIVEEducation Required: Masters DegreeExperience Required: 7 - 10 YearsPosition Description: Western & Southern Financial Group has an immediate opportunity for a Vice President, Strategic Marketing.The Vice President, Strategic Marketing works with the Core Team and members of the Marketing Subcommittee to develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase share of select markets for all W&SFG distribution channels.Position Requirements:• Analyzes client needs and competitive landscape. Conducts gap analysis to determine product, service and marketing opportunities.• Develops overarching strategies to capture share of select markets in all W&SFG line of business.• Ensures advantageous positioning of W&SFG as the expert on select markets’ financial needs and preferred provider of products and services.• Coordinates the production and implementation of tactics associated with this effort to ensure our ability to capitalize on economies of scale and design efficiencies across business lines.• Determines and implements measuring systems to accurately track the impact and effect of each strategy or major initiative that is implemented.• Course corrects as necessary to keep efforts focused and on track to achieve objectives.• Develops major projects plans that reflect initiatives agreed upon by Core Team, Marketing Subcommittee and Women's Markets Steering Committee. Selects appropriate project managers, with input from Business Unit Heads.
