The organization has approximately 600 employees located at all Fidelity sites worldwide.As part of the HR Employee Services Sr. Leadership team, the Vice President of Strategic Measurement and Analysis will work directly with line business HR Leaders to articulate their metrics and reporting needs. By using your consulting, influencing and liaison skills, you will be responsible for translating business need into various reporting products focused on issues like: employee satisfaction scores, turnover rates, employment statistics, headcount translations, etc. You will work with your HR counterpart to diagnose need and understand use of the information they are requesting. You will then be charged with creating client facing reporting products which gives these clients access to data in a usable and diagnosable format. You will drive strategy across the enterprise to create a more consistent and robust reporting capability, focusing on common needs with some customizable features. Strategic Vision Drive strategy and standards on HR reporting, analytics, and business measures which will provide HR and Senior Management with the information they need to manage their business. The incumbent is primarily a business person (possessing broad, integrated business sense) with proven ability to interpret, analyze and present data, source and leverage market research and have extensive consulting skills. Incumbent will oversee the development and execution of surveys (customer satisfaction, employee engagement, former employee, etc.) and related analysis to support the functions migration to data driven decision making. The incumbent must be able to anticipate future business trends that may impact HR and be able to strategize on how best to measure the impact of such trends and how to interpret for senior management action. Business Influencer/Sr. Relationship Manager Incumbent must be able to work with all levels of management including the EVP, FIHR, SVP EE Services and become ‘the trusted source and recognized expert of people data. The ability to consult and interpret the unarticulated (translate business needs and provide thought leadership). Incumbent must be a simplifier not a complicator - They must have the ability to take complex ideas, concepts and data streams and synthesize the information to produce clear and simple messages in written stand-alone presentations and/or for presentations to senior management People Management Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, the incumbent will be responsible for managing a small team of reporting and analytics experts responsible for providing senior HR leadership from across all of Fidelity with a variety of human capital analysis and metrics. Position may grow to include National Reporting (team of 10 business analysts). Examples of this include workforce analysis, turnover, termination, employee movement, etc. Solid people management capabilities are required, with the ability to develop others and groom their successor. Proven track record as the thought leader in developing a large scale, enterprise-wide, strategic, client facing products Bachelors/MBA or Masters Degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, etc. Minimum of 12-15 years business experience with at least 7 years of direct team management Proven consulting, analysis and reporting expertise Experienced with, and knowledgeable of, data structures and statistical concepts Able to manage a team of analysts and drive flawless execution of analytical projects, including validating the analysis methods and results Able to perform analytical projects by themselves using raw data sets and excel or other analytical tools Able to take complex ideas, concepts and data streams and synthesize the information to produce clear and simple messages in written stand-alone presentations and/or for presentations to senior management Good executive presence and experience with senior management interaction and communication of results Excellent planning, prioritization, problem solving and organizational skills. Experience of balancing multiple tasks and playing different roles depending upon the size/type of project.
