Vice President of Employee Relations

Our client a fortune 100 financial services company is seeking a talented Vice President of Employee Relations.

This position is responsible for leading the US Employee Relations field team and Service Center of approximately 45 people. The incumbent will build upon the existing partnership between the groups to shape strategies and lead the teams to deliver on plans. The incumbent will also work closely with the senior HR Business Partners, General Council Office, Security and Audit to ensure timely, customer responsive support to employees and leaders and the effective resolution of employee issues that are often sensitive in nature. He/she will be a key member of the Global Employee Relations Council and Advisory Board as well as the NY Crisis Management Team.

 Required Qualifications Seasoned HR professional (7+ years of HR leadership and employee relations experience) with a track record for adding value to business partners and employees and leveraging HR expertise to drive innovation and change. Experience managing a large number of direct reports. A strong strategic thinker with a proven ability to transform ideas into outcomes. Excellent people leadership capabilities with experience leading a geographically dispersed team. A beacon for integrity and the ability to develop strong working relationships across the Company. Outstanding communication and influencing skills required to drive results through others. Team player with a flexible, adaptable and results oriented approach.
