Web Developer/Design

Job Description:Design and construct web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features primarily for employee websites.  Create story boards and concepts for marketing and communication interactive content. Where appropriate, integrate elements that make the websites engaging and add value. Produce designs and copy layouts for online content. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts. Maintain and provide ongoing design of websites, promotions and ad banners. Familiarity with a variety of the web design field's concepts, best practices, procedures, and latest trends. Integrate frameworks created with user interface designer, when needed. Provide counsel and design standards to agencies or staff developing for Visa's web channels.

 Requirements:

 

 Technical:Technical requirements: XHTML, CSS, Action Scripting. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Microsoft Office. Basic familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript, ColdFusion, ASP.NET and how they integrate with design elements.  Proficiency in designing and generating HTML emails. Knowledge of video production and editing a plus, but not required. 

 

Candidate Musts:Effectively interpret and create within stringent Brand standards while meeting business requirements. Provide ideas, recommendations, and support for overall strategy and direction of online design. Have experience with website design and development. Be flexible and work well with a variety of people across the company to incorporate various ideas and concepts into designs.
