 SUMMARY

Key responsibilities include:

• Global/local project and web component design/coding & review,

• First stage white box testing of code development,

• Maintaining high quality, high reliability services,

• Provide support for business critical production systems,

• Keeping up to date with new Web Technologies and design,

• Build pro-active and constructive professional relationships with members of the IT Product Support Group and all other technology and business unit teams,

The ideal candidate is an energetic Web Developer with the following technical skills:

 

• Logical thought process with an overwhelming desire to succeed

Must have a good working knowledge of web applications with Microsoft Technologies (VB.NET, Active Server Pages, COM with Visual Basic, XML, XSLT, IIS Administration and JavaScript and HTML),

• Knowledge of UML is an asset,

• Good working knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL and database design,

• Knowledge in Object Oriented design methodologies,

• Experience with or in depth knowledge of full software development lifecycle,

• Experience in high availability web connectivity to backend systems highly regarded,

• Some knowledge of financial markets and Registry/Employee Plans businesses would be an advantage

Any Microsoft Certification would be highly regarded, as are relevant tertiary qualifications.
