Web Video Production Summer Intern

TheStreet.com is seeking summer interns for its video department.  Interns will play a key role in helping add to and refine the rapidly-growing audio and video portion of our site. 

 

Responsibilities:Assist with filming and editing video segments.Arrange optimal lighting, camera and teleprompter setup for video shoots.Assist in scheduling tapings and guest appearances.Occasionally help with location shoots and/or work in front of the camera.

 

Qualifications:Current enrollment in a BA/MA program at an accredited college or university (sophomore standing or above).Ability to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment.Commitment to a minimum of 3 days per week either on a part-time or full-time basis.Familiarity with video production equipment and software.Interest in filming and editing video segments.Comfort with Macintosh and PC operating systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work well with a variety of personalities.Knowledge of financial news helpful.
