IB Operations

IB Operations is a dynamic and diverse division that ensures trades are settled in a timely, cost efficient manner, that risk is minimised and that the client experience is a pleasant one.  Spread across multiple product areas (Derivatives, Securities, Global Finance & Foreign Exchange Operations, Loans, Trust and Securities, as well as cross functional entities) IB Operations strives to do things smarter, faster and more effectively.  It meets the technical and operational challenges of processing transactions worth hundreds of billions of Euros every day, across multiple time zones in all the major currencies and markets.

 

Whole Loan Ops Support Specialist

 

Job Description:

 

-  Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation and reporting of Custodial and Suspense Cash.

-  Verifying Collateral within the Systems as well as custodians

-  Responsible for Investigating and resolving collateral and cash related breaks.

-  Contacting Servicers and Custodians about discrepancies and resolving disputes.

-  Responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing cash

-  Responsible for MIS

-  Request amendments, between internal and external  cliets, and address any ad hoc request

-  Daily contact with Collateral Analyst, P&I Analyst, Funders, Securitization Team servicers and custodians.

 

Skills Required:

-  Excellent written and oral communication skills

-  Thoroughness and attention to detail

-  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

-  Ability to work in a team environment in order to achieve group targets

-  Ability to navigate complex process and architecture

-  Taking ownership for tasks and following through to completion

-  Excellent organizational skills

-  Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure

-  Accountability, responsibility, solution and delivery focused

-  Ability to interact successfully and build strong working relationships with various internal and external groups on a daily basis (Middle Office, Trade Support, Collateral Analyst)

-  Motivated and Positive

-  Problem solving, analytical

-  Good IT skills, such as Windows XP and Microsoft Office

-  One year experience or degree in finance/accounting with relevant internship experience

 

The role will expose the candidate to a broad range of complex products and workflows, giving the candidate a strong understanding of the lifecycle of whole loan transaction.

 

The candidate will play a pivotal role in realizing both DB's Client Satisfaction Program, delivering against specific client service targets, as well as the Firm's Target Operating Model.
