Wireless network intern

Assist the wireless network group with providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and routine maintenance on wireless networks. Learn operation and use of wireless network support tools.Prepare and maintain technical documentation.Document and trend performance statistics.Work with Trading Floor Operations to help identify and isolate wireless network issues.Provide limited handheld support to customers using the Common Wireless Infrastructure (CWI).Configure wireless LAN equipment.Submit, track, and recieve equipment and hardware orders.Work in concert with other teams to help meet department goals and deliverables.Represent the wireless group at department and project meetings.Conduct research and testing on new and emerging wireless technologies.Periodic after hours and weekend work is required.

Must possess the following: A basic understanding of networking concepts and fundamentals.Strong organizational skillsSelf starter.Good people skills.Work with minimal supervision.Proficient with MS-Office programs.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a EE/CS degree
