Our client, a leading provider of financial market intelligence and a leading source of credit ratings, indices, investment research, risk evaluation and data has an excellent opportunity for an Investment Management Writer to join their sales team in Manhattan.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales Operations, and working with an established team focused on performance, the person selected for this position will design and develop materials used in sales proposals, presentations and sales collateral.

 

In this position, you will work with a variety of external and internal clients. The emphasis is on delivering materials that maintain the highest levels of professionalism – effectively creating customized materials for each project, avoiding a cookie-cutter approach to sales presentations and proposals. The proposals, presentations and collateral materials developed will put forth the efforts of the organization in the form of solution selling, as opposed to product selling.

 

While written communication is the primary focus of this position, your activities will place you in close contact with clients, sales executives, graphics specialists and training and education staff. Because sales collateral contains facts and figures that change quarterly or annually, particular attention must be paid to accuracy to ensure these documents are current and in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

 

This role calls for a bright, creative individual who is self-directed and willing to accept personal and team responsibilities. You should be comfortable sharing and developing ideas in a collaborative environment.

 

To qualify for this position, your organization and communication skills must be excellent. You should have solid skills in MS Office software, including PowerPoint and Excel. 2-3 years of financial services experience is required. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in writing and delivering proposals, presentations and collateral material by producing a portfolio. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
