Area General Manager

Sodexho is seeking an experienced Area General Manager of Environmental / Custodial Services for the Healthcare division in greater Los Angeles, CA. The Area General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all environmental services for 3 hospital accounts in the greater Los Angeles area. Ideal candidate will have extensive General Management experience in an acute care / hospital / health care Environmental Services environment; have well developed Interpersonal skills - ability to develop and maintain professional, positive working relationships with more than one client liaison, Board members, customers, employees, supervisors, vendors, all levels of the client and Sodexho organizations; Customer Focus - provide outstanding customer service to all customers and clients - both internal and external. Oversee 2 GM ES, and 10 mgrs at 3 accounts. Position Summary: Directs all contract management service operations at a single unit and provides additional resources to at least 2 other nonrelated accounts/units in the same geographic area. Assists DM with sales surveys, training of unit staff, and special projects. Supports and mentors GMs in respective area of responsibility. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 4 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 4 year(s) You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
