Area Sampling Manager

 

Honest Tea, a leader in the bottled organic tea market, is looking for a candidate who can take its brand to the next level.  This is a rapidly growing company with tremendous opportunities for a hard-working, resourceful hands-on manager who can act as an ambassador for the Honest Tea brand.

 

We are looking for someone who can hire and lead a team in the market to execute promotional events and take advantage of guerilla sampling opportunities for Honest Tea, Honest Ade, and Honest Kids.  The ideal candidate is someone who is entrepreneurial, highly-organized, and understands the Honest Tea demographic.  This person will play a critical role in the marketing strategy for the company, so creativity is a plus!

 

Responsibilities:

·  Hire and supervise a team to execute guerilla and event sampling opportunities in the market.

·  Seek out local events and venues where Honest Tea, Honest Ade, and Honest Kids consumers work and play.

·  Coordinate with Honest Tea’s sales managers to most-effectively leverage marketing efforts.

·  Submit recaps from each event, including pictures, and be able to tell a story with the progress being made in the region. 

·  Use marketing opportunities to drive sales.

 

  Requirements:

·  Bachelors Degree in Business (or related field) preferred. 

·  Experience managing a team required. 

·  Must be able to work a Wednesday – Sunday schedule.

·  Experience in marketing, especially sampling in the beverage and/or consumer products industry preferred.

·  Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal/written) with the ability to interact effectively internally as well as with external contacts.

·  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are essential.

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·  Must excel in multi-tasking within a fast-paced organization.
