Catering Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for organizing the setup, service and clean-up of catering functions as well as maintaining kitchen areas throughout the agency.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:Place orders for soda, water, and groceriesMaintain a tidy kitchen and kitchenette areasStock fridge and cabinets with food, beverages and supplies on a daily basisDump excess trash and run dishwasher as neededResponsible for receiving and executing food orders for client meetings; including the set up and re-plating (as needed)Ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of conference rooms before and after meetingsAssist in organizing agency eventsWill handle all kitchen related billing and will manage Purchase Orders and receipts for catered events to ensure accurate billing Check bathrooms daily to ensure neatness

SKILLS:Good follow through and ability to work with all levels of personnelComfortable placing orders over the phone and onlineFamiliarity with MS Office applications; including Word, Outlook and Excel
