Position Summary: The Coffee Manager will be responsible for profitably impacting sales volume within a specific geographic territory and customer group. Coffee Manager will focus efforts against foodservice distributors and key operators who can affect SLFS distribution and pull through. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Meet or exceed established profit objectives, volume quotas, and targets. Secure profitable sales volume by developing and implementing business plans at assigned distributors and operators. Establish and maintain contact with key distributor personnel in all key departments: purchasing, sales, logistics, bid department, national accounts department, and marketing. Train and work on a cooperative basis with distributor sales organizations. Maximize profitable sales opportunities through the effective use of programs, marketing activities, sales aids, and major distributor/operator meetings. Identify key operator accounts for sales contact in accordance with operator call guidelines (i.e. value selling, profitability, volume, and strategic importance). Make sound customer business decisions based on customer opportunity, profitability and volume resulting in profitable growth for SLFS. Effectively manage and maximize profit margins. Effectively manage beverage equipment/service aspects. Bachelors degree preferred Minimum of 1 year sales experience preferably in the foodservice coffee industry General computer skills with proficiency in word and excel Proven track record of delivering sales results Excellent presentation skills Strong problem solving skills, time management skills and communication skills Decision making ability Ability to build customer focused relationships General understanding of business finance An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
