Position Summary: The Coffee Manager will be responsible for profitably impacting the sales volume of Sara Lee Beverage products within a specific geographic territory and customer group.  The Coffee Manager will focus sales efforts against key operators and foodservice distributors as defined by Sara Lee.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet or exceed profit objectives, volume quotas, and targets for Sara Lee Beverage Category in area of responsibility as defined by Sara Lee Corporate Beverage Category Management Team. Establish and maintain contact with key distributor and operator personnel in all key departments:  purchasing, sales, logistics, bid department, national accounts department, and marketing. Train and work on a cooperative basis with distributor sales organizations. Maximize profitable beverage category sales opportunities through the effective use of national/regional/local programs, marketing promotions, sales aids, and major distributor/operator meetings. Identify key operator accounts for new sales contact and retention in accordance with operator call guidelines (i.e. value selling, profitability, volume, and strategic importance). Make sound customer business decisions based on customer opportunity, profitability and volume resulting in profitable growth for SLFS. Effectively manage and maximize beverage equipment placement and thru-put Effectively collaborate with beverage equipment/service team. Bachelors degree preferred Minimum of 1year sales experience preferably in the foodservice coffee industry General computer skills with proficiency in word and excel Proven track record of delivering sales results Excellent presentation skills Strong problem solving skills, time management skills and communication skills Decision making ability Ability to build customer focused relationships General understanding of business finance  An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
