Cooler Technician - Berkeley, CA

We are currently seeking a Cooler Technician to work out of our Berkeley distribution center.  As a Cooler Technician you will:

 

·  Be responsible for the delivery, placement, repairs, and maintenance of coolers as well as the shipping, receiving, and refurbishment of coolers

·  Work with other support and technical personnel on their daily work routines

·  Assist the Cooler Manager with cooler orders, inventory and budgetary issues

·  Manage cooler inventory such as cooler parts, shelves, visi-glides, and graphics

·  Follow all department and Company policies and procedures and participate in department objectives for continues improvements of systems and services

·  Other duties as may be assigned

 

Qualified candidates will have a high school degree or equivalent plus a minimum of two years' delivery experience; the ability to operate a 24 foot bobtail truck;  knowledge of the Bay Area metro area;  excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills;  strong computer skills and technical proficiency;  the ability to lift 40 lbs. and push 75 lbs.;  and a clean DMV record with a valid driver's license.
