Dietetic Technician

Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Diet Technician - DTR, for a CCRC with 179 licensed beds. This position will provide staff supervision one weekend per month. Hours are generally 8:30am - 5pm. Occasionally (weekends) may need to work 9:30 - 6pm. Must be able to complete assessments on new residents, calculate tube feedings, complete meal rounds, participate in quality improvement, etc. The Diet Technician works closely with the food and nutrition department managers with in a team setting. Ideal candidate will have good technical computer skills and hospitality customer service orientation is a must! This position is benefits eligible! Instructs patients and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Basic Education Requirement: Associate's degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: None Basic Functional Experience Required: No previous work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics required and registry eligible for dietetic technician. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
