Food manufacturing company in Vista is currently looking for an experienced Director of Finance with 5+ years of experience as head of the accounting department. The key responsibilities including, but not limited to compiling and analyzing financial data to generate management reports, forecasting of research and development cost. Experience in development and implementation of Bar Code systems.

 

Qualified candidates should have a Masters Degree in Accounting, preferably CPA, knowledgeable of current laws and regulations in accounting, payroll, workers compensation, and strong computer skills.

 

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities – Essential functions:

 Analyzes financial information relating to working capital, investments, rate of return and expense performance.Compile and generate reports, charts, & graphs relating to the company’s financial performance of every department.Analyzes trends and prepares forecasts for manufacturing, sales, finance and general business conditions.Makes recommendations in company’s general and economic policies.Performs functions of cost accounting through accounting methods, principles and practices. Will define and/or determine product cost, cost of research and product development.Will develop budget data and assist with preparing of company operating budgets. Assist in coordinating marketing, business developments and public relation functions.Supervise office staff.
